The weather gives rise to a desert climate in the west, alpine and glaciers in the north humid tropical regions in the southwest and Indian Ocean territories that flank the continent. India weather is subject to 4 seasons; winter which runs from January to February, summer which runs from March to May, a monsoon rainy season which runs from June to September and a post monsoon period that runs from October to December.
